Datacraft China starts Sponsorship Program for a Junior High School
On 7 February 2007, Datacraft China, World Vision China, and China Charity Federation signed a three- year contract for a Combined School Sponsorship Program for Huangtuliangzi Junior High School at Pingquan County in Hebei Province, China. In this Sponsorship Program, Datacraft China will provide scholarships for 20 students for three years. The scholarship will cover the student’s room and boarding, stationery and tuition fees. In addition, Datacraft will also donate a library and provide sports facility in the campus. |

Share Your Love and Care
Datacraft Hong Kong has organised a "Share Your Love and Care" activity in March. The newly formed Recreation & CSR Committee prepared greeting cards for each sponsored child and approached colleagues for their signatures. They also collected small and inexpensive gifts like stationeries, bookmarks and postcards that would be sent to the children via World Vision Hong Kong. |

Datacraft Taiwan shared the Chinese New Year joy by donating gifts to Orphanage
This year, Datacraft Taiwan celebrated CNY in a different way by contributing gifts to children at the Christian Mountain Children’s Home, also known as the Liu-Kuei Orphanage. After weeks of collection, Datacraft collected 11 big boxes of used books, stationery, T-shirts, caps, mugs and daily supplies and shipped them to the orphanage before the CNY holiday.

In Nov last year, Datacraft employees donated Php 6,000.00 for medicines and blankets to UNICEF to help those affected by Typhoon Reming. Datacraft Philippines also sent some money to the three children sponsored under World Vision so they could have a more enjoyable Christmas. |

A Chinese New Year Visit with a difference
About 30 Datacraft Singapore colleagues visited the children at Melrose Home on 2 Mar 2007. After a tour of the Home, they watched two dance performances by the children. The children were then entertained by a magician with games and a magic show. Datacraft distributed goody bags and served dinner to the children. |

Helping victims of worst flood ever in Indonesia
Torrential rains in Indonesia in January 2007 was the worst ever in history - especially in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. Datacraft Indonesia donated Rp.40,000,000 (USD4,395) to help the flood victims especially those who lived nearby our office. |

Datacraft Japan kicked-off Change for Good® Programme
In February 2007, Datacraft Japan joined the Change for Good® Programme and started collecting foreign coins and notes from staff that have foreign currency left over from their business or vacation trips. UNICEF will collect and sort the donations by currency and the money collected will go to more than 50 developing countries to support UNICEF’s work in improving the lives of children. |

Datacraft Malaysia Donated Mattresses and Clothes to Flood Victims in Muar, Johor
Datacraft Malaysia raised money to purchase mattresses for 61 families in Muar, Johor, who were affected by the recent floods. In addition to the mattresses, Datacraft Malaysia also donated boxes of second hand clothing, bags for school children, bed linen, shoes, towels and blankets. The items were distributed via the Education, Welfare and Research Foundation. |

Datacraft Asia and Singapore organised blood donation drive
Together with the Singapore Red Cross, Datacraft Asia and Datacraft Singapore organised a blood donation drive on 11 Jan. Nearly 20 staff responded to the call to donate blood. This was in response to the Singapore Red Cross' appeal for blood donors to come forward as the current stock level in the blood bank is below the desired level. |
