Datacraft Global Service Centre sets new benchmark in operational excellence with ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 Certification
Datacraft has achieved a significant milestone in operational excellence when its Global Service Centre (GSC) in Bangalore and Singapore were awarded the prestigious ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 (ISO 20000) standard certification.

Datacraft achieves strong revenue and earnings growth in Q2 FY2008
Datacraft has reported another set of strong results in Q2 FY2008. Group revenue grew 26% year-over-year to US$180.6 million while after-tax profit attributable to shareholders increased 25% to US$9.5 million.
"The fact that we have continued to achieve robust results and even gain market share in this challenging economic environment is a tribute to the efforts of our team in remaining focused on executing our strategy,” said Datacraft’s CEO, Bill Padfield. “The services business remains promising with strong market demand and we will continue to drive services opportunities to improve margins and build our annuity revenue. I must also add that our solution lines of business have continued to show strong growth and has made a significant contribution to the bottom line.”

Datacraft Hong Kong receives EMC Outstanding Achievement Award – Direct Partner 2007
Datacraft Hong Kong was presented EMC Outstanding Achievement Award – Direct Partner 2007 at EMC partner velocity update event in March 2008. This award recognises Datacraft Hong Kong's contribution towards EMC Hong Kong in 2007. Donation to Red Cross
Datacraft has donated a total sum of S$57,000 to the Singapore Red Cross Society in support of its humanitarian relief efforts towards the Myanmar Cyclone disaster. The donation was raised by Datacraft employees based in the Singapore operations, as well as dollar-to-dollar contribution from the company. A separate donation drive for China quake victims was also carried out and proceeds donated to Singapore Red Cross Society.

Datacraft management made a Home visit in Siem Reap
The Datacraft management team took time off to visit the Street Children Centre known as Krousar Thmey (New Family) in Siem Reap, Cambodia on 22 May 2008. During the visit, the team was treated to traditional Khmer dance performances by the children. In return, Datacraft bought lunch for the children and donated US$2,200 which is equivalent to a month of their operating expenses.
Krousar Thmey is the first Cambodian foundation set up to assist deprived children. The Centre offers temporary protection shelters for abandoned or street children and victims of trafficking so that they can receive proper care, moral and educational support before re-integrating into the society or their families.

Mr. Stanley Ip as Chief Financial Officer, Datacraft Asia
Mr. Stanley Ip was appointed Chief Financial Officer on 1st April 2008. Mr. Ip brings to Datacraft 27 years of financial management experience in US corporate headquarters, Asia Pacific regional headquarters and country sales & marketing operations.
Prior to Datacraft, Mr. Ip was the Senior Finance Director, Asia Pacific Region of Sun Microsystems covering six sub-regions (Japan, Australiasia, Greater China, Korea, Asia South & India) with annual revenues of US$2.4 billion. He also graduated with Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, Canada.

Mr. Lim Puay Koon appointed as Regional Director Asean, Datacraft Asia
The Asean Region represents a significant part of Datacraft business. A number of our key clients have multi-national and regional headquarters in this economically dynamic region which includes Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam. Mr. Lim Puay Koon has been appointed as the Regional Director who will manage Country General Managers in each of these countries and is responsible for both Operational and Strategic oversight. Mr. Lim will report to the COO and work closely with other Business Units.
Other than Mr. Lim’s proven senior management capabilities, business acumen and industry specific knowledge, he also holds Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York (USA) and an MBA from the same institution. In his more than 12 years with Hewlett-Packard, Mr. Lim has held various senior positions. Most recently, he was the Director & GM Outsourcing Services (South-East Asia). He has also held positions in Dell Asia Pacific.

Mr. Puay Eng Chuan as Sales Director, Financial Services, Datacraft Asia
As part of Datacraft's market verticalisation strategy to focus on the Financial Services Industry (FSI) market, Mr. Puay is responsible for developing sales strategies to accelerate growth and profitability through farming as well as acquisition of new high value clients.
Mr. Puay brings to Datacraft 16 years of experience with proven track records in the areas of sales leadership, change implementation and strategic re-alignment of business. Prior to joining Datacraft, he was Sales Director for the Southeast Asia Enterprise region at Hewlett Packard Singapore, and Sales Director for Financial Clients in Asia before that. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) from National University of Singapore and an MBA from Nottingham University.
