Lakshmi Vilas Bank steps up IT security infrastructure
Datacraft has been awarded an IT security infrastructure and datacentre upgrading project by Lakshmi Vilas bank, one of the most established banks in South India. This is to enable the bank to cope with rising traffic and meet high service level guarantees for a rapidly expanding customer base. The contract required Datacraft to design and implement the datacentre upgrade as well as to provide ongoing support to ensure a high level of operational performance; MPLS-based network was also deployed for all core connectivity, using ISDN as a fallback.

Datacraft tightens up security for Yes123
Datacraft has completed a comprehensive security upgrade for Taiwan’s online job bank, Yes123. Amidst rising web attacks globally, the solution will serve to protect the privacy of job seekers’ sensitive data, heighten performance and ensure compliance with new government regulations. The security solutions also include ISO27001 certificate consultancy services. With ISO27001 accreditation, the job bank will be able to strengthen its brand and differentiate against competition.

Datacraft successfully upgrades firewall for Advanced Contact Solutions, Philippines
Datacraft Philippines has implemented the new carrier-grade firewall to help Advanced Contact Solutions (ACS) filter out unwanted web and email traffic for the company’s expanding operations with minimal disruption. ACS chose Datacraft because of its strong technical expertise, proven track record and global partnerships. Datacraft partnered with M.Tech and leveraged global partnerships with Nokia and Check Point to complete the implementation for two call centre sites.

Training Partners Steps up its Game through New Partnership with Element K
Training Partners and Element K, e-Learning solutions provider, have announced an agreement to market and distribute Element K’s web-based learning content in eight countries across Asia. This strategic collaboration will enable Training Partners to become one of the first training services provider to provide learning solutions through a “Learning as a Service (LaaS) model”. This means that clients will be able to optimise their training budgets and gain visibility into their return on training investments.

Datacraft completes server virtualisation for Bokwang
Datacraft has overhauled leading Korean conglomerate Bokwang’s IT infrastructure with the implementation of the virtualisation solution. The deployment of Microsoft’s Hyper-V server technology helped to consolidate and virtualise the servers, reducing total cost of ownership by 40 percent. It also brought an overall improvement in network availability, manageability and reduction in carbon footprint as fewer servers mean less energy consumption.

Carecraft: Datacraft employees donated towards Loose Change project to “Save the Children”
In support of the causes of Save the Children, an organisation that looks after the welfare of unfortunate children around the world, Datacraft carried out a region-wide fundraising project called Loose Change. Employees were encouraged to donate their loose change throughout the one-month period and raised a total of US$6,353.72. The proceeds will go a long way in providing relief to children in need. |
